Nice blog,

One question i have and im sure i share it with many others is, can someone do a little item on how to set up ark inventory, I see the way lillith has certain gear in certain areas IE pvp and Shadow. It would be really helpful if you could show the definitions you used. I use ark invent and I have some basic definitions that im more than wiling to show. But they are as i said very basic, like putting my boe’s in one section

I’ve been using MyBags since it was gloriously released to the masses ages ago.
No fancy searching or filtering, all it takes is organisation.

Another vote for Baud Manifest; the best inventory addon out there. Please look at it for Round 2.

PREACH ON BROTHER! Baud Manifest is the best bag add-on ever…and almost nobody uses it. I NEVER have to look for anything in my bag it is always right were I expect it to be. Takes very little time to set up and can even do a few handy side functions like auto-repair items and auto-sell gray stuff. It is the bomb.

I’m a huge fan of Combuctor. Once I made the switch I never looked back. The thing I love is the easy tabs and sorting through the coloured buttons. “Oh I need to send all my greens to my dis enchanter…*push the green circle, send the mail* BAM! Done.”

Oh yeah man, I know they work in two very different ways. I just think besides the time spent organizing by Mr. Plow the end result of both types of addons are close enough for me. And I think (not sure) that mr. plow uses considerably less memory than the true bag addons.

I use Bagnon but disable its tooltip in favor of Altoholic. Altoholic’s tooltips take into account what you’ve mailed, plus it includes guild bank info. Of course, it’s a bit of a heavy addon if you’re not interested in what else it has to offer, but I love being able to see what recipes my alts need, and search to find who has that material I need.

MrPlow (and its compatriot BankStack that I much prefer in its stead) do very, very different things than these bag addons do. The former alter the actual placement of items within your bags: Item A goes in Slot 2 of Bag 2, and so on. The addons presented above alter the way you see the bags and their content but not where those items actually are within them. So while they are (very) distantly related, they aren’t really comparable.

I’m using Mr. Plow atm, its less of a bag addon and more of an organizer addon that rearranges items in bag based on item type.
I haven’t looked at it specifically but it seems to use a lot less memory than any of the other bag addons.
