As raid leader (and just a raider), I have many pet peeves. There’s always the guy that stands in a fire. Then there’s always “that guy” who happens to just be bad at certain mechanics or aspects of the fight (like the Teron Gorefiend encounter). And let’s not forget about that guy who asks stupid questions in the middle of the fight after he’s had a chance to watch videos, read about them, and even get verbal briefs before the fight.
My arch nemesis?
The Theramore portal mage.
Yes, at the end of every fight, these wiley mages play portal roulette and create portals to far away capital cities or towns that you don’t need to go to.

Back in the olden days when people joined large raids for Wintergrasp, I was in a raid where somebody had a mod set up to automatically boot mages who tried to be tricky and put up useless portals right as WG began.
You, sir, are a party pooper. ;) Sure I drop Theramore ports, but I always go and pick everyone up afterwards. :) The point is to see how many people aren’t paying attention. :D

I originally wrote this mod to deal with all of the Tools opening ports to Stonard and dropping Train Sets while waiting for Wintergrasp. Thanks to all of the suggestions from people on Burning Blade and at Curse, it has expanded to its current form. If anyone has any suggestions, head over to Curse :)

Hopefully my GM won’t see this post…. I always throw up a Stonard portal to catch people out – it’s amazing how many people still click on it, even with a Dalaran portal right beside it.
I also used to put up Mole Machines in AV before the fight and say “click for food” – yeah I’m that guy. Quit spoiling my fun!
It’s not as fun as it used to be. Portalling people to Darnassus from outside ZG was the ultimate fun. And back in those days, that was a damn long trek. Not for those nabs the joy of connected flight points, boats directly to Stormwind or 30 min hearthstones that the pampered unattentive get to use nowadays.
Used to drive the raid leader nuts, but it was worth the abuse. :)
Oh, and dropping blizzards / flamestrikes when bored mage tanking at the Illidari Council was kinda fun too. Mages ftw! :)
